According to the community rules, today I am going to share with you a drawing of a damson fruit. Let’s not delay and get started.
Step 1:
First, I gathered all the necessary materials for the drawing.
Step 2:
sketch |
---|
Using a pencil, I drew the damson fruit. As you can see, I’ve drawn several fruits. I tried to draw damson fruits of different shapes and also added leaves to the drawing.
Step 3:
Now, to make my drawing look beautiful, I used a gel pen to neatly outline all the sketches.
Step 4:
Next, I’ll begin coloring my drawing. To start, I will color the two fruits at the bottom. I’ve used a combination of several colors for the coloring. For the colors, I’ve used light blue, brown, red, and navy blue.
Step 5:
half domson fruit color |
---|
First, I colored the half damson fruit at the bottom, followed by the small slice.
Step 6:
Then I colored the half damson fruit at the top. After that, I colored the entire damson on the right side. Now I’ll color the small-sized damson fruit on the left side.
Step 7:
Seeds color |
---|
Next, I’ll color the seeds inside the damson fruits. First, I colored the seed of the half damson at the bottom, then I’ll color the seed of the half fruit at the top.
Step 8:
Yellow Color |
---|
Now I’ll use yellow to color the half fruit at the bottom, and I’ve also used yellow for the middle half fruit in the upper part of the drawing, adding a light brown tint.
Step 9:
Yellow color to the small size |
---|
I’ve finished using yellow for both. Now, I’ve also applied yellow to the small slice and lightly shaded it with brown to make the drawing look more original.
Step 10:
The damson fruits are fully colored. Now I’ll color the stems of the fruits. My drawing has two stems in total. I’ve used green to color the stems. Finally, I’ll color the leaf I’ve drawn on the damson fruit on the right side. I’ve used green for the leaf. I’m sure you can tell from the picture that my drawing and coloring are complete.
Step 11:
I’ve added some final touch-ups to ensure the colors are well blended.
Step 12:
Afterward, I captured a selfie with my drawing.
Don’t forget to let me know in the comments how my damson fruit drawing turned out.
The answers to the questions mentioned in the contest are provided below |

Are you familiar with this fruit? Is this fruit available in your country? Have you eaten this fruit yet? How much is it worth in your area? (Include steem prices with your country prices.)
Yes, I know about Damson fruit. It is one of the small types of the plum which is mostly souring in taste. It is mostly used to make jams and jellies. However, it is not very much popular to the people of Bangladesh.
There is no availability of the Damson fruit in Bangladesh. It is mainly developed in the European countries. Our country has some of the local types of plums but not like Damson. For that reason, this fruit is not very common in Bangladesh at present time.
I have not tasted this fruit because it is not so common in my country. It is only available in certain countries. If it is imported it maybe one day I get to sample it.
I have no clue on its price within my country Bangladesh. That is because it is not available here hence one cannot be able to determine the local price for it.
