A few days ago, I painted on a dress for my niece. This was my first experience painting on fabric. So now, I will share with you how I painted my niece’s dress. Without further delay, let’s get started.
Step 1:
Dress and frame |
---|
Step 2:
Then, with the help of a gel pen, I drew flowers on the dress as I wanted. The flower drawing is complete. Now I will start painting.
Step 3:
Start to paint |
---|
Before starting to paint, I carefully set the frame with the dress. Then, I started painting with white color. First, I painted the three flowers I had drawn on the top in white. Next, I painted the stems at the bottom. Then, I painted the flower at the bottom with white color.
Step 4:
Using yellow |
---|
On the parts of my drawing where I used white, I added smaller shapes in yellow color.
Step 5:
Over the yellow color, I applied red, and on the side of the bottom flower, I also used red.
Step 6:
Now, I will color the sections on the sides of my drawing. For this, I used white color. In the middle of each flower, I added a small white dot. For the parts where I used the base color, I now painted with blue.
Step 7:
Painting the Left side flower |
---|
Next, I will paint the three flowers I drew on the left side. First, I used white color here.
Step 8:
Over the white, I shaped the flowers with blue color. Along the sides of the flowers, I had drawn leaf shapes, which I painted green. The flower at the very bottom of the drawing didn’t seem to match the colors, so I changed its color. I used white on the sides and blue in the middle. Now the flower looks more vibrant.
Step 9:
For the leaf shapes that I painted green, I added black color in small sections. I also used black on the stem at the bottom. In this way, I completed painting on my niece’s frock.
Step 10:
Here’s my selfie with the painted dress.
Let me know in the comments how my niece looks wearing this dress.
Step 11:
After painting, the entire look of the dress changed. Below, I’m sharing a few pictures.
