Of these, basil (tulsi), dhania (coriander), and podeena (mint) deserve special mention not only because of their extensive curative properties. It is now about time that we introduce these herbs and how beneficial they are to the health of children.
Tulsi also known as basil is an herb that enjoys a sacred status in South Asia chiefly because of its curing powers. It has been traditionally used as a medicine for calming and to treat skin injuries.
Boosts Immunity:
Basil has a function of enhancing the immunity in children; thisitem helps to prevent diseases such as cold, flu and infections. It is active against any bacteria or viruses and hence helps control their growth and spread successfully.
Improves Digestion:
Basil clears the tummy and helps one avoid bloated feelings which in such a case would help the children who always have tummy aches.
