I hope everyone is well and enjoying their lives. This is our third week in which we are learning Amazon Affiliate Marketing. I hope that in the next few lectures, we will learn a lot, as in this task we have to search for our keywords and we have to look at the trending posts. And based on this, we have to do competitor analysis, so let's move on to our main task.
Find a Trending Product |

Our first task is to search for trending products, so we have two to three tools to search for trending products. Such as Amazon Best Sellers and Google Trends, among them, we will use Google Trends.
Using Google Trends, I opened the Explore section and searched for black bags because most people like black color a lot. Simply, I will search for black bags, and based on this, we will see the specialty of our product, and its reputation. I have searched for black bags, in which you can see their interest over time.
I searched for it worldwide, and you can see its interest across regions as well, with 100 percent in the United Kingdom, 75 percent in Australia, and 60 percent in Ireland. So, its interest can be seen in different regions.
According to our search, we are getting related queries based on which we can search for them. That is a tote bag, a tote bag black, black leather bag. We can make our things easier by searching for such things.
So we have checked it on Google Trends, but now we will search for this product, which is the black bag, on Amazon.
To search for a product on Amazon, we first opened Amazon.com. While opening it, we searched for the black bag in the search box and entered it. As soon as we entered it, it also appeared in the best seller. By chance, our product is also available on Amazon Best Seller and Google Trends.
This gives us an idea that the product we have selected is trending these days because it is selling quite well on Amazon and is also quite popular on Google Trends.
Its popularity is greater because it is a generally used item, it is not something that we use depending on the season. Rather, it can be used on ordinary days and some famous days as well.

Choosing a good keyword can lead to the fame of our product because whenever someone searches for our product in the search box, at that time we have to bring our product to the trend. Accordingly, we will need a good keyword that will bring our product in front of the user show it to everyone in the search engine, and give us better results.
Keywords are of different types, some of which are informational, meaning that the user only wants to get information about the product and see the services. Some are navigational, which points us to a specific page and a specific website. For example, if the user wants to buy anything from Amazon, he will write a black bag from Amazon.
In this sense, we have to set our keywords, so first of all we will search our keywords, which is our main keyword, which is black bag, so we will search for that keyword here using Semrush.
High Search Volume:
The search volume of our three selected keywords is significant, which shows the interest of the users towards these things and products. We will benefit from this because there are chances of more traffic to our product or our page. Because the volume of our two keywords is 14800, while the search volume of a black bag, which is our main keyword, is 9900.
Manageable Keyword Difficulty:
The KD percentage of our three keywords is less than 30. A low KD percentage indicates to us that it is much easier to rank these words compared to the more difficult words. These offer a good balance between competition and ranking, so they are good keywords.
Intent:
The main purpose of the three keywords we selected is that they are either informational or transactional. This means that whoever the customer is, they are either looking for information about the product or are ready to buy it. The combination of these two intents attracts a wider range of users, from the research stage to the purchase stage.
Updates:
All three keywords have been updated in the last week, indicating that the data is fresh and relevant. The most up-to-date data has the ability to better capture current trends.

For competitive analysis, I have shown my product first. Our products have a rating of 5,014 and 4.4 stars, which is a good rating. They are doing their job well and have sold a good amount of units of the selected products. If we analyze it along with its price, then its price is very affordable which is $16.98.
This product is almost the same and the main difference is their price difference because our product is $16.98 but this product is $24.99. When we provide an affordable price, customers will be more attracted to us and our product will sell more. If we get the same quality product at a cheaper price, then customers will be more attracted to it.
Along with the price difference, the biggest difference between them is the capacity. The capacity of our product is 10.2" x 6.7" x 3.9" and the capacity of its competitor's product is 9.4" x 7" x 2.9".
