Like they always say, sometimes life throw to us what we expect least and we just need to accept it as it comes. Today I will be participating in the Steem4Nigeria contest and be sharing my view how far this year have gone.

Been a Yoruba guy that I am and the fact that we are bought up in my family with this hustling spirit, from my childhood, I have always been business oriented. As a little kid, I will always watch my mom go about her small business then of selling ice fish. The spirit of something called "owo" have been in my blood. I remember back then in secondary school, my friend always call me "Baba of Hustle". I have tried a whole lot of businesses growing up ranging from hawking Banana, selling peanuts, selling pillars of sand packed from the roadside gutter, poultry farming and many more.

Talking about my own type of dream business, I actually want to run a digital marketing agency business that I will focus only on Nigerian businesses. If you will notice that nowadays, the technology and digital world is taking over of everything, it is looking like if you are not online, it seems people are not really noticing your work. I will make sure that I can help boost the visibility of your business using the digital marketing strategies. Trust me, I have seen a lot of businesses make massive exposure due to the digital marketing.

When it comes to the world of business, I will say money is important but money is not the only important factor that will make sure that the business is successful. Don't get me wrong, money is very important and in fact will give you a strong advantage in the business most especially when you are starting but you need to understand that for the business to keep going, it is not only about the money. There are other things that you need to pay attention to. I personally, I feel there are something's business needs which are below;

• Strategy: I will start with the strategy. Without right strategy, your business will suffer at the long. You need to run your business with the right plan do that you can beat your competitors.

• Creativity: This will be my second point because it is you able to be unique. You need to understand that the business world is a very competitive industry and so you must be creative in order to stand out.

• Resilience: You need to understand that not every time everything will be going smoothly in your business, sometimes you need to be resilience to keep going. You need to always fight through obstacles.

• Good Customer Relations: This will be the last. You need to understand that customer are valuable tools that will go a long way to determine whether your business will be successful or not.

The Cost of My Dream Business (in Steem)

Talking about the cost of my dream business which is Digital Marketing agency just like I said earlier. I have come to diabetes that digital marketing agency is very expensive. I will need to get laptops, I will need to get an office space that will be used to attend to services, I will need to pay for internet services also since my business will be based online and also I will need to budget some funds for employees.

Generally, I will be starting with around 5 Million Naira. Doing the calculations below following the current price of Steem right now.

• Price of 1 Steem = 302
• Cost of the Business = 5 Million Naira
• Calculation = 5,000,000/302 = 16,556 Steem

So I will need roughly 16,600 Steem for my business to kickstart. Even though it might look so huge right now but it is my dream and I believe dream can be turned to reality.

Talking about running my dream business either online or offline, I will say it is quite difficult to choose because both are needed that will be carried out in my business. But in order to pick, I will definitely be going for online for me. As my business is focused on digital space, running my business online will produce more result much more. Everything right now is been built around online and trust me, it will just continue to get better and better.

Nowadays, people are even working remotely and that is just what I will make sure my team actually ensured on. They will definitely work remotely that even with a click, we can attend to lot of the demands of my customers or clients. I will make sure also that my business run 24/7 because the internet world runs like that.

Talking about why I actually believe so much about this dream business. Because I believe it will be a market that is still yet to be matched in Nigeria. I am talking about the space of digital marketing. I have actually come to discover that a lot of businesses have a lot of good and quality products they are selling but at the end of the day, they are still reaching few people. They desire to reach a more wider audience and that is just the goal of my business. To help businesses reach much more wider audience all around the world.

Another inspiration that motivate me strongly is that freedom of entrepreneurship. What do I mean by that? I actually want to build a business that will be mine. I want to build a business and grow it steadily that in the future, I can boldy say yes that is my business. When that my dream business get successful, I will be a le to employ a lot of Nigerians and by doing so, I am creating job opportunities.
