Hello Friends,
Many animals in the world are endangered and many animals are in a significantly critical state. In my country, Bangladesh, numerous animals are in a critical state of their own existence. Today, I am going to write today's article under the title Animals Protected in My Country of the Steem of Animals community, about an animal that is on the verge of extinction in my country.
Rhinoceros are a very popular word in our society, but this animal is not seen in any forest of Bangladesh now. To see rhinos, we have to go to the zoo or to other countries, as more rhinos are seen in Bangladesh's neighboring countries, India, Bhutan, and Nepal. There are currently no rhinos in any forest of Bangladesh. The National Zoo of Bangladesh has only one rhino.
Rhinos have become extinct in Bangladesh for various reasons. The main reason for the extinction of rhinos is the high demand for their body parts. Poachers sell various body parts of this animal in the market as medicine and ornaments. Rhinoceros is a large animal that needs deep forests, but deforestation is the reason for the extinction of rhinos. It has also become extinct in Bangladesh because the reproduction of rhinos is very slow.
In Bangladesh, hunting and all activities related to buying and selling every animal are prohibited by law. I generally do not have a process to bring back rhinos in Bangladesh because there is only one rhino in Bangladesh with which I do not know if breeding is possible. There are laws to protect every wild animal including rhinos. The law has provisions for both fines and imprisonment. I think it is our duty to properly implement the law to protect these animals and to make the general public aware.
Nowadays there are many people who catch wild animals and eat their meat, if you and I become aware and stop them (poachers), then our animal diversity will be saved which is good for our environment.
I invite you @simaroy @max-pro @muksa to participate in this competition.
Good luck to you.
I wish you well
