If you frequently visit nature, you will notice that mushrooms come in all shapes, colors and sizes. Some of them are obvious ones are shelf fungi, jelly like blobs, puff balls and larger sized toad stools. Just take good look at a rotten log or tree branch and you will be surprised what grows on it among mosses and lichens. If you agree, I'd like to this mushroom "clitocyboid," at least for identification purposes, since it forms an easily known group which is included into genus of gilled mushrooms that lacked partial veils and featured white, yellowish, or pinkish spore prints, as well as gills that were broadly attached to the stem or run down it. Since the rainy season is about to come, I am quite excited to welcome this season with hope of finding plenty of mushrooms that grow in the area where we used to visit. A local forest that can be reach in 15 minutes by bike becoming a primary spot to start mushroom hunt. Yep! we probably don't waste too much energy to explore the deep wood to find such a mushroom. Like other nature pieces, even the smallest fungi with striking beautiful shape and color can bring out our childlike sense of awe. It appears, I was not only captivated with its cap structure as well as the color that made me hang out a bit longer with the shots.
